A little about me.
Curiosity was my super power when I was little. To explore, and in some cases, break the nice stuff my dad bought me to see how I could change it.
Today, that curiosity helps me experiment, learn and innovate, along with my team mates to find better solutions that could pave the way for a better product, user experience, and business turn-over.
I like socialising with friends, have an uncontrollable smile, and I’m bad at golf. Recently started a journey to become healthier. I listen to Diary of a CEO and love learning about other cultures.
My career.
After graduating from Northumbria University, I wanted to immediately get into a “proper” job, and let’s face it, 9 years of stacking shelves as a sales assistant in a super market gets boring, but I wanted to be able to support myself throughout my education years.
I went to India for 2 weeks with Accenture to learn all about Agile methodology, and as part of that, I had the opportunity to work at the Innovation centre, which is where I discovered UX design.
I started as self taught in UX, and throughout the 6 years I’ve been working in the industry, I’ve been properly taught with real world experiences, impacting real users, and making a great impact.
Being able to impact so many users is very humbling for me. It drives me to be much better, and always improve. My personality aligns quite well with my profession.
