A little about me.
Curiosity has been a constant for me. As a kid, I was always tinkering with things (sometimes breaking them, to my dad’s frustration) just to see how they worked. That same drive to explore and understand now helps me push boundaries in UX, experimenting and learning alongside my team to create better products and experiences that actually make a difference.
I’m a social person, so time with friends is important, and I’ve got a smile that apparently shows up even when I’m on the phone! I’ve also started focusing more on my health recently. Golf, however, is a work in progress—my swing needs as much patience as my projects do!
When I’m not working, I’m usually listening to Diary of a CEO or learning about other cultures. I find it’s a good way to keep fresh perspectives and stay grounded in what really matters.
My career.
After graduating from Northumbria University, I was ready to jump into the design world and leave behind my days stacking shelves. That experience taught me a lot about persistence and teamwork, but I was excited to explore something new.
A big turning point came when I travelled to India with Accenture. Learning about Agile at their Innovation Centre opened my eyes to UX design, and I quickly realised how impactful design can be. From that moment, I knew I wanted to create meaningful, user-centred experiences.
Since then, with years of experience behind me, I’ve had the opportunity to lead and guide teams across various industries—media, telecoms, government services—on their UX journeys. I’ve taken on the role of managing UX needs, helping teams shape their strategies and align design with broader business goals. Along the way, I’ve learnt from inspiring mentors and collaborated with talented colleagues who’ve enriched my approach to design and problem-solving.
I also love working with code and enjoy getting technical when needed. My fascination with engineering drives my enthusiasm for close collaboration with development teams, where we can bridge the gap between design and build to deliver seamless experiences.
I’m passionate about making things easier for people, whether that’s through a clean interface, accessible design, or smooth user journeys. Every project has added a new layer to my skillset and reinforced my dedication to crafting thoughtful, user-focused designs. It’s been an amazing journey, and I’m excited to keep learning, mentoring, and creating impactful experiences that make a difference.
